It runs in your browser with no download or sign up, works on phones and computers, and keeps working offline once loaded.

How to play Bubble Wrap
- Choose Relax to pop at your own pace, or the 30 second challenge to race the clock.
- Click or tap a bubble to pop it. Slide your finger or mouse across a row to pop many at once.
- When a sheet is empty, a fresh one with a new colour slides in.
- In Relax mode, tap New sheet to swap the sheet, or Finish to see how many you popped.
- In the challenge, pop as many bubbles as you can in 30 seconds. 60 or more is a great score.
Controls
- Mouse: Click bubbles or hold the button and drag across them.
- Touch screen: Tap bubbles or slide your finger across them. On many phones you will also feel a small buzz.
Tips to score higher
- Slow, steady swipes along a row pop every bubble with no gaps.
- In the challenge, work row by row so that you do not waste time hunting for what is left.
- Turn the sound on and the phone volume up for the full pop effect.
- Use Relax mode when you need a short break. A minute is often enough to feel calmer.
- Keep going across the sheet edges. Bubbles on the last column are easy to miss.
The story behind Bubble Wrap
Bubble wrap was invented in 1957 by two engineers, Alfred Fielding and Marc Chavannes, in New Jersey. They first tried to sell it as textured wallpaper, which did not work. A few years later it found its real job as protective packaging, and one of its first big customers was a computer maker. Today almost everyone has a pile of it after an online delivery, and almost nobody can resist popping a few bubbles. This game gives you the pleasure of the pop without the plastic, so you can keep the parcel safe and still get your fix.
