Tips to score higher
- Look at the gap that is about to reach the bottom of the log, then throw a moment early.
- Throw one knife at a time at first so you can see exactly where it lands.
- On boss logs, watch the pattern for a few turns before you throw.
- Do not rush for apples when a gap is tight. Points from stages are worth more.
- Short, steady rhythm works better than fast tapping.
The story behind Knife Hit
Knife throwing is an old circus and fairground act, where a performer throws blades at a spinning wheel. Mobile developers turned the idea into a simple tap game in the 2010s, with one finger, a spinning log and a growing wall of blades. It became popular because a round takes seconds, and the feeling of a perfect throw is very satisfying. It suits the same short breaks that once belonged to a game of snake or a brick game on a phone, in a bus or a queue.
