Color Switch is a free one tap game where a ball hops up through spinning shapes. You can only pass through the part that matches your colour. It runs in your browser with no download or sign up, works on phones and computers, and keeps working offline once loaded.

How to play Color Switch
- Tap, click or press Space to hop. The ball falls back down, so keep tapping to climb.
- Pass through the part of a ring, square or bar that has the same colour as your ball.
- Touching any other colour breaks the ball.
- Round orbs with four colours change your colour. Grab one before each new shape.
- Collect stars for points. Falling off the bottom of the screen also ends the run.
Controls
- Keyboard: Space or Up arrow to hop. P or Esc to pause.
- Mouse: Click anywhere on the game to hop.
- Touch screen: Tap anywhere on the screen to hop.
Tips to score higher
- Small, steady taps are better than big bursts. Stay in control of the height.
- Wait for your colour to come around instead of rushing. The shapes keep spinning.
- The star sits in the middle of each shape. Get it as you pass through.
- Look at the next shape before you grab the colour orb, so you know which colour you will need.
The story behind Color Switch
Tap to hop games became hugely popular on smartphones in the 2010s. Their power comes from a single simple input: one tap, one decision. Games such as Flappy Bird and Color Switch showed that a very simple idea, polished well, can be played for hours. Many people found themselves tapping away in queues, on trains, and during short breaks, trying to beat a friend's best. Color Switch here is our own original take, with its own shapes and level pacing, made for quick sessions on any device.
