- Fast pink grumblers turn up in later worlds. Wait for them to come to you and then jump.
The story behind Pixel Jumper
Side scrolling platformers took shape in the early 1980s, when arcade and console makers began scrolling a whole level past a running hero. Super Mario Bros arrived in 1985 on the Nintendo Entertainment System and set the pattern: run, jump, stomp, collect coins and race to the flag. In India, many of us first met this kind of game on cheap 8 bit TV consoles and cartridges, with a friend waiting for the next turn. Pixel Jumper brings back that simple feeling with its own hero, its own worlds and the same sweet moment when a long jump lands just right.
