Word Scramble is a free timed word game. Letters are jumbled and you have 60 seconds to put them back in order, one word after another. It runs in your browser with no download or sign up, works on phones and computers, and keeps working offline once loaded.

The story behind Word Scramble
Word jumbles have been newspaper favourites for generations. Daily jumble columns started in American papers in the 1950s, and puzzle books of scrambled words were common in homes, schools and waiting rooms. Anagrams are much older still, and writers have enjoyed hiding names inside rearranged letters for hundreds of years. Many of us in India grew up with word games in magazines and school competitions, and the quick thrill of spotting a word from a mess of letters is the same today. This version adds a ticking clock to keep it exciting.
